Nevertheless, they continue to be used especially for executives and senior managers, in order to retain them and thus \u2018bind\u2019 them to the company.<\/p>\n<p>It is the job content, together with work life balance, to emerge as the main criteria for both attracting and retaining new generation talents, and companies should therefore accommodate to their expectations.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-two\"><h2 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:44;line-height:1.26;\">The strategies<\/h2><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>The necessity to implement\u00a0<strong>open and transparent strategies<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 such as equal pay \u2013 will become crucial, especially as companies shift from hierarchical to\u00a0<strong>flexible career models<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Generation Y is more likely to change employers if they perceive that the reward strategy is not aligned with expectations or is\u00a0<strong>ethically<\/strong>\u00a0weak.<\/p>\n<p>Team performance and goals are becoming more relevant than individual ones. And so are\u00a0<strong>evaluation systems<\/strong>: frequent meetings and conversations with supervisors \u2013 even on a weekly basis \u2013 are replacing evaluations on an annual basis. Moreover,\u00a0<strong>feedback<\/strong>\u00a0does not only come from managers but also from colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, relying on quantitative performance criteria often led to unethical practices and behavior.
