What are psychological styles?

The Psychological Styles Assessment test allows you to get an initial psychological profiling of candidates and employees.

The test costs 5 credits and allows to cross 14 personality dimensions (emotional instability, independence, etc.) with the seniority, role, gender and education level of the examinees, investigating the adaptability to a certain profession or business context with a high degree of accuracy.

Thanks to a study on a heterogeneous sample of 100,000 candidates, in collaboration with Università Cattolica of Milan, the test has defined 14 personality models within which the person can be placed.

For each model, a detailed description of the corresponding psychological style is provided.

The 14 dimensions are represented by a histogram that allows a simple and intuitive understanding of the prevailing characteristics and their weight in the overall assessment.

Commander

The “Commander” people are natural leaders who can capture, bring to light, and exploit the most hidden sides of every situation, without damaging their colleagues. They love being in the spotlight and they are aware to have the charm to keep this role and the physique du rôle as well, to manage every situation in an intuitive and brilliant way.

Explorer

The “Explorers” never shy away any new challenges and they always know that, even though they are required to accomplish a difficult task, this one can be an opportunity for growth, not for failure. They engage in working experiences in a proactive way and they can deal with a possible failure in a healthy and effective way.

Creative

The “Creative” people belong to a rare typology of model. These people are extremely capable of diving into the banality of everyday situations and producing something new, creative, useful. They can develop something new, creative, and useful even during ordinary situations. They can create in loneliness, and they struggle to easily organize themselves and fit in a pre-existing organization if this one does not ensure them with personal freedom and expression.

Philosopher

The “Philosopher” people are loved by all the other working groups. They do not leave anything to the chance and they always question themselves regarding new ways to interpret the same situation or to deal with a specific problem. Contrary to the “Chaotic creatives” who love dealing with real challenges by themselves, the “philosopher” love working together in team. They are able to slow down when it is necessary, and to make the team turn back, to examine new opportunities, to suggest new ideas and to deal with frustration, in particular when a task already seemed to be completed yet.

  • PRAGMATISTS

Investigator

The “Investigators” know that data, reality, and facts, are the principal tools to make decisions. Nothing is left to chance, but every decision, collaboration, old or new idea needs a practical, attentive, and careful verification. Even knowing that the results of this examination might not always be comforting, they never shy away from a careful examination of reality and of its facets.

Adventurer

The “Adventurers” are able to subvert the social order in a both discreet and destructive way, but always extremely anchored to the context, to the present. This type of people gets on well with the artistic world as a concrete tool to change present situations that they do not like, relaunch with new ideas even in total solitude. The “Adventurers” are the “dissatisfied” in a positive sense: they know that they can always have more and that they can achieve it now.

Scientist

The “Scientists” are a complex type of people. Knowing that there is a higher order of things, it is not enough for them testing hypotheses and verifying their validity with data, like the Experimenters, but they go further and further with theories, ideas, plans instead.

Wise

The “Wise” people are those most desired in a company. They know how to treasure their experiences and they help others to develop themselves and their potential in a totally free way. They rarely demand for nothing, and they answer with openness and passion to anyone who comes to them for advices.

  • FAITHFUL

Paladin

The “Paladins” are wise defenders of the common good. They know that the community, the group, the team are the most precious treasure and they strenuously preserve its integrity, rules, and culture. Without the “Keepers” any group would be “lame”. The Keepers sacrifice themselves and their ambitions for the well-being of the group. You could entrust them with the most important good, being sure of its safeness.

Guardian

The “Sentinels” are not discouraged in face of anything. They are firmly convinced that everything that revolves around them needs to be constantly monitored and they are able to do it on behalf of others as well. The Vigilantes are active defenders of harmony, order, and mutual respect within a group.

Judge

They reflect the culture of a company, of a profession, and they undoubtedly defend it strenuously, with an authoritarian, firm but extremely flexible attitude, regarding the internal changes of a group, a team or of a context in which they operate.

  • MAGISTERS

Governor

They can have an authoritarian approach as well, but they also have an extraordinary open-mindedness and flexibility. As natural leaders, they know that the political intelligence is the most powerful weapon the have to get what they want and to bring benefits to the whole team.

Inspirer

In every situation, context, group, there are some “models” to follow. These are the “Inspirators”. They embody everything desirable, beautiful, successful that each of us would like to become.

Instructor

The “Instructors” tend to teach commandments with the aim to reach harmony and personal achievement; they work together with the “Inspirators” to bring people up, to exploit their potential and to show them the best way to the success.

The test on psychological styles (Job test) received the certification in computational psychometric analysis from Pietro Cipresso, MEc, FPsyS, CStat, CSci, PhD at the Catholic University of Milan.
