1. What is a resume parsing software?
A resume parsing software provides companies with an effective tool for CVs scanning, identifying the different sections of a resume and splitting it in different parts. Resume parsers are extremely useful to recruiters to sort through large quantities of applications and find the best applicants.
Our company, Arca24 – HR Tech Factory, has developed its own resume parser, which is different from the usual tools that prefill fields in an application form. Our software, instead, is able to scan and analyse applicants’ CVs.
2. How does Arca24 resume parser work?
Arca24 resume parser is able to extract the whole text of a CV (whether it is a read-only file or an image, like a .jpeg). The system has the capability to process images, thanks to an integrated “image processing” software based on neural networks, that is able to parse the CV and categorise its content in different sections, such as personal details, work experience, education, profile picture and other info.
3. Why should I use a resume parser?
Resume parser is included in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) module of Arca24 software programmes. Resume parsing technology allows to scan CVs as images and it works way faster than human reading, reducing human effort from hours to seconds and making all the info more easily accessible to recruiters.
4. What are the main features of Arca24 resume parser?
In our software Ngage, specifically designed for employment agencies, when sending a range of candidates to a client, recruiters can choose whether they want to view (and send to clients) a simple CV extraction or the original CV, censoring, if they wish, the candidate’s personal details.
This function is crucial for recruiters working for temporary employment agencies, who need to send candidates to clients daily, without providing them with the personal data of the selected candidate.
